This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information when you use the app. By using VRNT Engineers, you agree to the practices outlined here.

To deliver the invoicing & management features, VRNT Engineers collects the following categories:

• Storage / Files — to save generated PDF invoices directly on your device.
• Camera / Photo Library — to allow you to upload a profile picture (optional).
• Internet / Network — required to synchronize data with our backend (Supabase) and enable authentication.

You can change permission settings anytime from your mobile device settings, but some features may be limited.

We rely on trusted services to provide robust functionality:

🔒 5. Data Storage & Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

• Authentication: Supabase handles authentication with hashed passwords and secure session tokens.
• Encryption in transit: All communication between the app and Supabase uses TLS/SSL encryption.
• Local storage: Hive boxes are stored inside the app's private directory; inaccessible to other apps.
• Data retention: You can edit or delete any client/job data at any time. If you delete your account, all related data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
• While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your device updated.

As a user of VRNT Engineers, you have the following rights:

• Access & Portability: Request a copy of your stored data (email us).
• Correction: Edit your profile, bank details, or client info inside the app at any time.
• Deletion: Delete individual invoices, clients, or your entire account via settings.
• Opt-out of optional data: Profile picture is strictly optional; you can remove it any time.

🧸 7. Children’s Privacy

VRNT Engineers is not directed toward individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to delete such information.
